Sbagello/Brutto was a project done in collaboration with Edoardo Lietti and the florentine clothing company Colla, that does unique screen printed garments with bold and playful graphics.
The idea was to mix furniture design and graphics using wood as a medium.
The stool has a very compact dimension allowing for easy portability and shipping, making it look more like a gadget than a proper piece of furniture.
The choice of plywood is a nod both to early modernist design and to Ikea mass produced and global furniture of today.
The graphics were specifically designed by Colla.
