Born in Florence, Italy, he holds a master’s degree in Architecture from Università degli Studi di Firenze and also studied at ENSA-Paris Belleville.
He operates within the field of furniture design, from collaborations with companies, to pieces of functional art, to installations.
His works, based on material and cultural research, revolve
around the relationship between tradition and modernity,
with the final object being the result of a contextualized process.
For his projects
he employs different materials and techniques, ranging from traditional
craftsmanship to industrial know-how, often mixing the two. As a designer, his aim is to question the status quo by provoking reactions and suggesting new possibilities.
